Eligibility: Open to legal residents of mainland Scotland, aged 18+. Internet access required to enter.

Winner must be the registered property owner or have written proof of the registered property owner’s consent and have all necessary consents, permissions, authorisations and/or licences, necessary to: (1) enter this competition on the terms set out herein, (2) grant the Promoter a right of access, and (3) allow the Promoter to fulfil the Prize. Any entrant must ensure that their property is not subject to any encumbrances (by way of registered burdens against their title, or any other legal restriction on their property) that may affect prize fulfillment. 

Winners must meet the Home Requirements (as defined below). It shall be entirely at the Promoter’s discretion whether or not a Winner meets the Home Requirements. 

Normal exclusions apply. Any entries received before or after each promotional period will not be valid and will not be entered into this promotion. No purchase necessary.

Home Requirements: The property must not be situated in a Conservation Area or be a Listed Building. The property must be no more than 2 stories. The property must have an exterior wall up to but not exceeding 90m2. The wall must be of a suitable, flat, non-textured surface (i.e. smooth render or flat brickwork) capable of having exterior paint administered to it. The property must have appropriate access for a boomlift and or scaffolding. 

Prize: One (1) x winner total. One (1) x winner will win: One (1) x exterior wall mural to be designed by IRN-BRU and completed before or on 14 June 2026 (the “Prize Delivery Date”). The set-up, including painting and execution of the mural, will take 5 days (the “Set-Up Period”). 

Prize Conditions: 

  1. The Prize shall be set-up, installed and removed by Recoat (https://www.recoatdesign.com).
  2. Unless removed earlier by the Promoter, the Prize shall remain in place for a minimum period of 28 consecutive days at expiry of the Set-Up Period. Following completion of this minimum period, the Promoter and the Winner shall together agree the date for removal, subject to the Prize Conditions.
  3. The Promoter shall deliver the prize by or on the Prize Delivery Date but shall not be liable where delays arise due to adverse weather, safety concerns or other circumstances beyond their reasonable control.
  4. The Promoter shall be entitled to remove the mural at any time where required by any third-party. The winner shall ensure to co-operate in providing availability for access for removal.
  5. The winner shall notify the Promoter immediately upon receipt of any notice or instruction in relation to the removal of the Prize.
  6. The Promoter upon removal of the Prize shall reinstate the Property including repainting the exterior wall with exterior paint to return the wall to the original condition, to the extent possible, at the Promoter’s cost.
  7. The Promoter shall not be liable for any paint depth variations or texture variations.
  8. This reinstatement shall take place within 28 days of removal of the Prize. Any agreed period or date for reinstatement shall be subject to weather conditions and to Recoat availability.
  9. The winner must allow uninterrupted access to the nominated wall for the Set-Up Period, and for removal. In addition, the Promoter may request access at reasonable intervals for photography and maintenance. Any access times shall be agreed in advance with the winner.
  10. The Promoter is entitled to photograph and film the Prize for promotional, marketing, editorial and publicity purposes across all media channels. The right to use the content captured shall be granted to the Promoter in perpetuity.
  11. Promoter shall not be liable for any associated costs not specifically and expressly included in the prize. The prize does not include any travel costs, personal expenses or insurance.
  12. The Promoter will not be liable or responsible for any loss or damage suffered by the Prize winner in connection with the Prize. 

Draw: One (1) x winner will be drawn by us at random on 3rd June 2026 from all valid entries received. The winner will be contacted within 24 hours of the closing date by the Promotional Partner via the email address provided in the entry form. The winner will be required to provide their name, UK address, proof of home ownership or written consent from the home owner, telephone number, email address by reply within 5 days of our email. In addition, the winner must provide within this 5 day period an approximate size of the nominated exterior wall and imagery of the nominated wall. If the winner does not provide this within 5 days of our email, they will forfeit their prize and we may re-draw an alternative winner. 

The winner’s name and/or social media handle may be used by us to name the winner. The winner’s surname and county will be obtainable only by sending a stamped addressed envelope request to: IRN-BRU Brand Manager (IRN-BRU Summer Mural Competition 2026) - A.G. BARR p.l.c., Westfield House, 4 Mollins Road, Cumbernauld, G68 9HD within 3 months of closing date. The winner may request that their surname and county are not published or request for the amount of information being published to be reduced by contacting the Promoter at the address above. Without prejudice, the Promoter will provide this information to the Advertising Standards Authority on reasonable request.
